About Isabel
Isabel Sheinman is the Co-Founder and CEO of Maka Media, an AI-powered children’s media company focused on building healthier digital experiences for families. Prior to Maka, she co-founded NABU, a global literacy platform that reached over 15 million children across 18 countries through partnerships with governments, NGOs, and educators. Isabel’s work sits at the intersection of early-childhood development, technology, and global access, and she is committed to building systems that prioritize child well-being, trust, and long-term impact. She studied at Georgetown University, Oxford University and NYU Stern and is now proud to be building Maka in Detroit.
